Commercially, our cobblestones have proved themselves with stunning effect in streetscapes and promenades. Perfect for a range of commercial applications including; driveways, footpaths, courtyards, or for use as banding or edging. The hard wearing, non-slip and stain resistant cobbles withstand high pedestrian and vehicular traffic whilst retaining an aesthetic appeal in all applications.
Kings Beach Water Park, Caloundra, QLD is a project example of commercial use in an urban setting. This project utilised both charcoal and painted cobblestones, exhibiting how diverse applications can work to achieve desired outcomes.
SPECIFICATIONS
Chelmstone’s cobblestone is technically advanced by manufacturing the randomly selected stones connected by a cord into a 765 x 385 x 40mm mat. This paving system allows multiple continuous laying of 33 stones per mat, reducing the traditionally high cost of installation. The cobbles are non-slip, highly durable and highly stain resistant as tested to Australian Standards.
