Chelmstone supplies a wide range of ceramic tactile (TGSI) solutions.
Chelmstone stocks a range of cautional (warning) and directional integrated ceramic tactiles. Available in multiple colours to suit your project needs, ceramic tactiles can be a cost effective solution to ensuring your project meets Australian Standards (AS 1428.4.1).
It's important to understand which type of tactile is required to meet Australian standards. Chelmstone stock both warning (or sometimes referred to as cautional) ceramic tactiles, along with directional tactiles. Cautional or Warning tactiles (TGSIs) indicate to those with a visual impairements of an approaching hazard. Directional tactiles (TGSIs) give people with visual impairments directional orientation in open spaces where there are insufficient cues such as handrails or walls.
